JV To Redevelop Catholic University’s South Campus

Washington, D.C. — A joint venture is redeveloping the South Campus of the Catholic University of America.

Washington, D.C. — Washington, D.C.-based Abdo Development has partnered with a joint venture between Washington-based The Bozzutto Group and Chicago-based Pritzker Realty Group to redevelop the South Campus of Catholic University of America. The project will redevelop the area into a mixed-use, transit-oriented community. Initial plans for the project include 720 residential units, 45 townhomes, 83,000 square feet of street-level retail space, 15,000 square feet of artist studio space, a 3,000-square-foot community arts center and 850 parking spaces. The site also sits adjacent to the Brookland Metro station. Groundbreaking will occur by the end of next year. Bozzuto Construction, an affiliate of The Bozzuto Group, will serve as the project’s general contractor, and Bozzuto Management will manage the residential component upon completion.
