Athens, Ga. — Lincoln Ventures has closed on the development site for 558 West Broad, a 750-bed community located near the University of Georgia campus in Athens. The 600,000-square-foot property will offer 342 units in one- to five-bedroom floor plans.
Shared amenities will include a full-service coffee shop; swimming pool and wellness center; a residential lounge, private study rooms and a study lounge; a fitness center with yoga and spin studios; bike storage; and a pet grooming station.
“Our proximity to the University of Georgia — one of the largest top-tier research-oriented institutions in the country — and the location along the vibrant Broad Street provides residents with immediate access to historic downtown featuring retail, dining and nightlife corridor in Athens,” says Chris Johnson, executive vice president of development at Lincoln Ventures. “We are looking forward to integrating into that community.”
Construction on the project is set to begin in June with delivery scheduled for fall 2024.
