Statesboro, Ga. — Progress Builders has begun construction on Monarch301, a 180-unit, 546-bed apartment on 10 acres near Georgia Southern University. Monarch Ventures will manage the property. Amenities include a large clubhouse, resort style pool, outdoor volleyball court, free tanning beds, a game room, dog park and bike storage. The project will be complete by summer 2013.
Progress is a joint venture between Monarch Properties, Bradley Housing Developers and Douglas Development. The first project for the development team was Monarch544 in Conway, S.C., near Coastal Carolina University. That complex is almost complete and approaching full pre-lease for fall 2013.
