New WVU Student Housing Community Breaks Ground

The Domain at Town Centre is being developed by Asset Plus and Diamond Realty.

 

Granville, W.V. — The groundbreaking has occurred for The Domain at Town Centre, a new student housing community in Granville that will serve students of West Virginia University. The community is being developed by a joint venture between Houston-based Asset Plus Cos. and Diamond Realty Investments. It will be built across the Monongahela River from campus, adjacent to University Town Centre. It will contain 912 beds in a mix of 336 one- through four-bedroom units. The residences will be fully furnished and will range in size from 601 to 1,472 square feet.

 

The Domain at Town Centre will feature a host of amenities. Its 9,200-square-foot clubhouse will contain an fitness center, a game room, a business center with private study rooms, an Internet café and tanning beds. Other amenities include gated access, a resort-style swimming pool, an outdoor barbecue kitchen, sand volleyball and basketball courts, and reserved covered parking.

 

Upon completion, which is expected in fall 2012, Asset Campus Housing, Asset Plus’ in-house management division, will oversee day-to-day operation of the community.
