Boston — Last steel beam placed on $80 million development.
Boston — The team behind Northeastern University’s GrandMarc Residence Hall celebrating the topping off of the building, in which the highest steel beam was placed. Suffolk Construction is building the project, Phoenix Property Company and Lincoln Property Company are the owners, and DiMella Shaffer is the architect. The $80 million, 17-story, 723-bed student housing tower will be complete in October 2014. The project is seeking LEED Silver certification.
