NRP Group’s San Antonio Development Will Debut Extreme Amenities to Its Market

San Antonio, Texas — The Vegas style pool is accompanied by numerous other amenities.

A rendering of the pool at LUXXSan Antonio, Texas — NRP Group has begun constructing “LUXX,” its 15-acre, $33 million, 694-bed community near the University of Texas at San Antonio. The project, which broke ground in May and will be complete in August 2014, will include what’s being dubbed as a Vegas-style pool.

This amenity is the approximately 3,000 square feet and features outdoor cabanas, a social lounge with an outdoor kitchen, barbeques and fireplaces, a swim-up bar with submerged seating, multiple large, flat-screen TVs, a wet deck with contemporary lounge furniture, extensive landscaping and a secluded hot tub.

Other amenities include a Disc Golf course on a regulation-size Goaltimate course, a half-field disc game similar to Ultimate Frisbee. LUXX will also feature a sand volleyball court, a park and recreation area featuring a performance stage, a movie screen and outdoor gaming areas for bocce ball, washers and corn hole.

Also being built into this development are tanning rooms and a fitness center with flex studio space for spin, yoga and Fitness On Demand video workouts. Residents will have 24-hour access to PC and Mac workstations and printers, a café and lounge, an arcade game station, indoor and outdoor study nooks and a conference room with multimedia presentation capabilities.
