Ruston, La., and Oxford, Ohio — Phillips Acquisitions has completed two student housing purchases. The first is University Crossing Apartments serving Louisiana Tech University in Ruston. It is a 552-bed complex built in 2007. It will be managed by Phillips subsidiary, Phillips Property Management. The other property is a 548-bed complex near Miami University in Ohio. Candlewood Terrace Apartments will be renamed Oxford West. Over the past 27 years, Phillips has acquired and managed more than 7,500 beds.
