Tallahassee, Fla. — Landmark Properties and Harrison Street Real Estate Capital begin construction on $37 million cottage complex.
Tallahassee, Fla. — A joint venture between Athens, Ga.-based Landmark Properties and Chicago-based Harrison Street Real Estate Capital has begun construction on The Retreat at Tallahassee, a $37 million cottage complex serving students of Florida State University, Tallahassee Community College and Florida A&M University. The Retreat at Tallahassee will have 178 units and 710 beds, as well as an 11,000-square-foot clubhouse. The development will be one of three that Landmark and Harrison Street will deliver in the fall of 2012. The other two projects are the Retreat at Raleigh (North Carolina) and the Retreat at San Marcos (Texas). In total, the JV will deliver 2,100 new beds in fall 2012.
