Student Housing Owner Helps Develop Turn App

Harrisonburg, Va. — Turnover Manager was designed to streamline the record-keeping of maintenance and routine inspections and to consolidate turnover documentation.

Harrisonburg, Va. — Software development firm Mobile Property Management, LLC (MPM) has debuted a software package targeted at the rental housing turnover process. Turnover Manager, which has been beta tested on more than 1,000 properties, streamlines the make-ready process through its cloud-based software suite and mobile application enabled tablet combination.

Property managers can perform move-in, move-out, periodic and maintenance inspections, manage maintenance tasks and provide pre-packaged documentation for renters and owners among other capabilities.

“We wanted a broad-platform, turnkey solution, versus an application that only addresses one piece of the solution,” says Andrew Forward, MPM president and co-owner of three Harrisonburg student housing properties. “We focused on the information and what you can do with it once you gather it.” MPM partnered with Cloverhitch Technologies of Calgary, Alberta, to develop the product. The project was also led by Jon Kann, Executive Vice President of MPM and Randy Brownell, Development Director of MPM.
