The Bridge Project Launched to Aid On-Campus Housing Officials Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

by Katie Sloan

An informal group of off-campus student housing providers has launched The Bridge Project with the goal of opening up communication with on-campus housing officials for best practices and collaboration during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Off-campus participants in The Bridge Project include University Partners, Capstone Real Estate Investments, The Preiss Company, Landmark Properties, Peak Campus, Horizon Realty Advisors, Student Quarters, CA Ventures, Pierce Education Properties, GMH University Housing, Core Spaces, Coastal Ridge Real Estate, Redstone Residential, The Dinerstein Companies, Cardinal Group Management, Homestead U and Horizon Realty Advisors.

The Bridge Project features a platform powered by CollegeHouse which allows for participants to share everything from best practices for cleaning to updated market information and research data on an online platform available for universities to view. The service is free for all operators seeking to participate and looks to bridge the gap between on- and off-campus housing operators, should a need for additional beds or quarantine facilities arise on-campus.
