The Scion Group Makes Personnel Changes

Chicago — Scion promotes Sarah Samuels to director of consulting services, and Dr. William J. Zeller joins the firm as a senior consulting specialist.

Chicago — The Scion Group has announced the promotion of Sarah L. Samuels to director of consulting services. Samuels has served in Scion’s consulting practice for nearly five years, most recently as a senior project manager, where she was responsible for market analysis, demand projections, feasibility studies and operations review for more than 40 institutional and private-sector clients.

Additionally, William J. Zeller, Ph.D., has joined the firm as a senior consulting specialist, contributing decades of experience as a student housing professional with expertise in designing residential learning communities, first-year student transition programs and strategic planning. His current focus includes deployment of new instructional technologies into the living-learning environment. Zeller joins Scion from the University of California, Irvine, where he served as assistant vice chancellor for student housing and later led the development of co-curricular initiatives for graduate and international students.
