Tampa, Fla. — The university will refer upper-division and transfer students to The Province and Avalon Heights.
Tampa, Fla. — Two of American Campus Communities’ properties in Tampa, Fla., have entered into housing affiliation agreements with the University of South Florida Department of Housing & Residential Education. The Province and Avalon Heights are both located within walking distance of the USF Tampa campus.
Under the agreements, the USF housing office will refer eligible upper-division, transfer and graduate students to the affiliated properties as alternative housing options, should the demand for on-campus housing exceed the university’s present capacity. The affiliation arrangement advances the university’s strategic priority to be classified as “primarily residential,” according to a university statement. USF currently provides on-campus housing for more than 5,400 students.
