Edwardsville, Ill. —Rising enrollment and need for off-campus living spur developments.

Edwardsville, Ill. — The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that developer Corey Wenzel is planning a second student housing property near Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to open August 2013. Enclave West would follow on the heels of the first complex, Enclave, a 352-bed property set to open in August. Together, the developments would accommodate approximately 700 students. The project cost for Enclave West is reported to be $20 million, and the Post-Dispatch reports that the projects’ funding is fueled by a family partnership that operates an accounting business in Edwardsville and Belleville, Ill.
