Walk2Campus Buys 526 Beds in Rock Hill, S.C.

Rock Hill, S.C. — The two properties are near Winthrop University.

Rock Hill, S.C. — The Herald, a newspaper and media outlet that covers several counties in South Carolina, is reporting that Walk2Campus has purchased the University Place apartments adjacent to Winthrop University. Walk2Campus is an owner and manager based in Conway, S.C., that provides housing for more than 1,250 students at six universities, according to its website. Walk2Campus purchased 610 and 630 Rose St. from GW Capital, representing bondholders that owned the buildings. Walk2Campus is planning $1.5 million in upgrades, according to the news story.
