West Village at UC-Davis Opens

Davis, Calif.— The largest planned zero-net energy project in the country has opened at UC-Davis.

Davis, Calif. — West Village, the largest planned zero-net energy project of its kind in the country, has opened at the University of California at Davis. The project contains 123 units of student housing, 42,500 square feet of ground level retail space and a large recreation center for residents that is wrapped around a village green. Carmel Partners is the developer of the project, while San Diego-based Studio E was the project’s designer.
