Young Harris, Ga. — A residence hall at Young Harris College has been awarded LEED Silver certification. Hardin Construction completed the $16 million, 62,500-square-foot residential facility last summer. Enotah Hall is one of only four residential facilities on Georgia college campuses to achieve LEED Silver certification. The facility was reviewed by the Green Building Certification Institute, a third-party reviewer for the U.S. Green Building Council.
Hardin Construction is also general contractor for a 57,000-square-foot recreation and fitness center at Young Harris. This $15 million project will also pursue LEED certification.
